Bloody Islamic Wars:

I haven’t commented much on things in the Ummah (the Muslim “Dar Al Islam” or “Lands of Submission”) recently, but in the last couple of days, a whole raft of stories about killings have appeared, especially in Freedom Net Daily.  Muslims are busy killing off Muslims and others (and even being killed), as usual.

Mesopotamia (“Iraq”): Regime forces launch operation to dislodge Islamic State from Anbar according to CBS News “A military spokesman says a large-scale military operation to dislodge Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants from Iraq’s western Anbar province has begun. The spokesman … announced in a televised statement that the operations started at dawn Monday. [and]… didn’t clarify whether the U.S.-led international coalition is taking part, mentioning only government forces and allied Shiite and Sunni paramilitary troops.” Oh, I have to figure that other forces ARE in the engagement, as otherwise, the “Iraqi” troops would not be willing or able to do anything.  Not that they be expected to succeed anyway.

Also in Mesopotamia: 29 killed in bombings across Baghdad,  as reported by Fox News “A series of bombings Sunday across … Baghdad, killed at least 29 people and wounded 81, police officials said. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attacks. However, the Caliphate (ISIS) is often behind assaults on checkpoints and other locations across the capital as it seeks to challenge Iraqi security forces and Iraq’s Shiite-led government amid intensifying battles in northern and western Iraq.” Even Fox will not admit that the Caliphate is a “state” – not just a “terrorist group.”  Of course, most states ARE nothing but “legitimate” terrorist groups.

To the east of Mesopotamia, in Afghanistan: a suicide attack on military base kills 25.  United Press International tells us: “A suicide car bomb attack on a checkpoint near Camp Chapman, adjacent to the city of Khost, Afghanistan, killed 25 people on Sunday, according to reports. Foreign soldiers, including U.S. troops, are based at Camp Chapman alongside Afghan security forces, but all of the dead are believed to be Afghan, according to Al Jazeera. No groups have claimed responsibility for the bombing. The incident comes after U.S. drone strikes in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province, just north of Khost province, last week killed the commander of the region’s Islamic State cell, Hafiz Saeed Khan, as well as two of the group’s senior commanders.” Or so US forces claim: they could have been shepherds or pizza delivery boys.  Tit for tat is normal (and has been for centuries) in this region of the world.  I am sure that Alexander’s troops went through this same goat-rope.

In Persia, Iran announced that an agreement had been reached in the nuclear talks running through night in Vienna as the July 13th deadline, and on Tuesday, details were released. The Hawaii Telegraph discussed the final stages:  “Diplomats from Iran and six world powers were continuing talks in Vienna into the early morning hours of July 13 just hours before their deadline to reach a final nuclear deal that brings sanctions relief to Iran in exchange for curbs on Tehran’s nuclear program. After more than two weeks of negotiations in the current round of Vienna talks, including three extensions of a self-imposed deadline for clinching a deal, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on July 12 that the deadline will not be extended again beyond July 13.”  So as a result of the attitude of “any deal is better than no deal,” Iran is being “permitted” by these six Western powers to continue to develop nuclear weapons with none of the “safety” measures supposedly the object of the talks.  Iran will use the opportunity to continue to disrupt other Islamic nations and kill and tyrannize its own people in a variety of ways.

At first, I thought the reports were jokes.  But no, NOT a joke, but it should be.  It is reported in USA Today and elsewhere that Iran and the various western nations have reached a nuclear agreement. “A landmark agreement to limit Iran’s nuclear program in return for easing economic sanctions has been reached in Vienna. The deal was confirmed in a tweet by Federica Mogherini, the European Union’s top foreign affairs official, following media reports citing an unnamed Western diplomat involved in the talks, who said the breakthrough came early Tuesday.”  The details (apparently available on through an English translation on an Iranian website) show that the squatter in 1600 PA and his co-conspirators got NONE of the “requirements” that they were going to “make” Iran agree to.  Meanwhile, the US is arming Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, and Israel like crazy, to “balance” the power between Iran and the rest of the Muslim (and Western) world.)

In North Africa, the Tunisian government says top terrorists killed, as reported in the Daytona Beach News-Journal. “Tunisia’s interior minister said the government has killed an extremist leader and nearly wiped out his group, as European tourists continue to leave the country amid fears of new attacks. Interior Minister Najem Gharsalli told reporters late Sunday night that recent security operations have targeted key members of the al-Qaida-linked Oqba Ibn Nafaa brigade.” These killings, no doubt, will result in retaliation, and the tourists are the easiest target, as well as being infidels and immoral ones, at that.

To the east, in Egypt: the Caliphate Islamic State bombs Italian consulate (filled with infidels and probably immoral to boot)   Sky News Australia tells us “The Islamic State group [again note, it isn’t a “state” just a “group”] says it was behind a deadly car bomb attack on Italy’s consulate in the Egyptian capital, and has warned Muslims to stay away from such places. ‘Soldiers of the Islamic State in Cairo were able to detonate a parked booby-trapped vehicle laden with 450 kg (990 pounds) of explosives at the headquarters of the Italian consulate,’ the SITE Intelligence Group quoted an IS tweet as saying on Saturday. … Health ministry spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said the blast killed a civilian and wounded nine people, including policemen and passers-by. It was the first attack on a foreign mission in Egypt since jihadists began a campaign against the country’s security forces two years ago following a crackdown on Islamists.” So more retaliation, more tit for tat, even if it seems to be a bit slower than most.

To the south, in Cameroon: Explosions kill 14 in north near Nigeria as reported in the Billings Gazette “Two bombs planted by suspected Boko Haram fighters went off at a bar in a northern town in Cameroon, killing at least 14 people, a military spokesman said Monday. Col. Didier Badjeck said three Chadian soldiers were among those killed Sunday in Fotokol, a town on the border with Nigeria’s Borno state. He said no Cameroonian soldiers were hurt.” Almost certainly the Chad troopers were themselves Muslims, although Boko Haram usually prefers killing and enslaving christians.  But no doubt, the soldiers were immoral: one of the biggest problems with the so-called peacekeeping forces which infest Africa is that the soldiers rape, enslave, and rob the local populace.

So, things are all “normal” in the Ummah: Muslims killing each other, killing non-Muslims, and being killed by non-Muslims in a hideous parody of “civilization” as taught in the schools – but reality for generations and centuries and even millennia.
