Just what counts as “initiation of force” against someone?  Against a community? When are we justified in using violence to defend ourselves or others against a threat?

This are all questions which concern many of us. Those who have a standard of morality, an ethical picture of the world and their place in it. Sadly, too many people, and too many societies (cultures) do not have either standards or any view of the ethical and moral nature of life.

Consider California. While there are many good people there, most are dirty: spiritually, morally, ethically. And therefore, most of them are controllers: haters of liberty. As a result, so is their society.

The infamous SanFran poop map.  It shows locations that I was once familiar with, when stationed at the Presidio of San Francisco. Not that Babylon-by-the-Bay was a much cleaner place in those days of the 1970s and 1980s. Either physically or morally or socially.

This is a short, introductory commentary.  Be warned, I am NOT kind to California.  Or to many (most) of those who voluntarily live there.  (While Mama Liberty spent, by her own admission, way too many years in the state, she did realize that and moved out to Wyoming, where she lived happily and in much greater freedom than has been possible for a century or more in California.)

If California is “civilization,” many of us want none of it.  California is shedding liberty and the freedoms of its residents, its visitors, and its future the way a road-killed deer sheds hair and skin and blood.

It is incapable of distinguishing between aggression and non-aggression, between self-defense, defense of others, and initiating force.  Because it cannot tell the difference between right and wrong in these cases, it is the one of Fifty States that has the least overall quality of life for the average person.

It is a cesspool.  And there are good reasons for it, historically and culturally.

Consider this an appeal, just as the angels told Lot: get out!  If you love life and liberty (and property and happiness), get out of California.  Before it is too late.

Next, I’ll discuss (with bias) the history of California and how it has come to be a place of parasites, controllers, and tyranny great and small.  It’s not a pretty story, but will help us understand the dangers of staying in, and dealing with, California.
