The most famous traitor in American history is probably Major General Benedict Arnold, a rising star in the Continental Army who switched sides and joined the Loyalist forces fighting for King George III and the Brits in the American War of Independence.
While the Dems and many Republicans in DC and elsewhere are touting how The Donald is guilty (note, no trial yet) of insurrection (and therefore a traitor) and busy changing the names of dozens of military installations to erase the names of Confederate “traitors” from history, this story comes courtesy of a reader of TPOL:
“A mysterious Chinese COVID lab was recently uncovered in Reedley, California. A Reedley code enforcement officer was sent out to an abandoned warehouse to check on a suspicious garden hose suggesting someone might be illegally using water on the wrong day of the week. By the time it was over, that garden-hose call involved a dozen federal agencies and exposed what looks just like a secret, Chinese bioweapons lab with Covid-19 test kits, 900 genetically-engineered humanized mice, over 30 freezers and refrigeration units, incubators, blood, 800 different chemicals, tissue and other bodily fluid samples, thousands of vials containing unlabeled fluids, and over 20 potentially infectious bacterial, viral, and parasitic agents like coronavirus, HIV, chlamydia, E. Coli, streptococcus pneumonia, hepatitis B and C, herpes 1 and 5, rubella, and malaria. It made the Wuhan Institute of Virology look pristine.
“Lab workers identified the owner as Nevada-based Prestige Biotech, Inc., and claimed the lab was making covid and pregnancy test kits. State and federal officials haven’t found who or what owns Prestige Biotech or its headquarters location. Other addresses were either empty offices or unverifiable places in China. Federal investigations are continuing.”
Hmmm. Reedley is this small city (25,000, small by California measures) SE of Fresno in the San Juaquin Valley. Out of sight, out of mind. And in the heart of California’s agricultural paradise. The lab building (supposedly also the home of Sanchez Recycling company) is only a block away from the Reedley Police station!
Apparently the CA Department of Public Health tried to hush this up: Secret Reedley Lab: Emails reveal CA Dept. of Public Health told Fresno County officials to be quiet (msn.com). The actual discovery was made in DECEMBER of 2022!
(Also worth noting: Nevada is one of the States (Wyoming is another) where the actual owners of a company “based in” the State can be kept secret. It is very popular for that reason – more so than Wyoming because, well, it’s Nevada. And Las Vegas and Reno are big enough to hide a lot of companies that provide that sort of service. It is likely that the search for actual ownership is a dead end.)
We are talking about California, where sand is often classified as a hazardous (carcinogenic) substance and businesses are routinely fined thousands of dollars for having a non-certified gasoline-engine lawnmower. Or failing to provide a Safety Data Sheet to employees and purchasers. Yet this lab operated for months in a downtown area without a record, with a supposedly empty building full of nasty chemicals, biological threats, and apparently mice being bred to carry COVID-19. And perhaps worse? California has huge experience in dealing with clandestine labs making meth and other recreational drugs (before we off-shored all that to… China). So what gives?
All of this suggests that the State of California, after keeping it under wraps for almost eight months, was finally outed – or maybe stopped bribing FedGov officials to ignore it. Which implies that the State was/is somehow connected with the lab. I don’t know the evidence that ties the lab to the Chinese, although this USA Today story offers a bit of info.
Being the paranoid that I have become, I have lots of questions. But the first one that occurred to me: Is California selling out the United States to China? Is Gavin Newsom another Benedict Arnold – or someone in State government? Or many? We keep finding Chinese spies all over the place – and people who have sold/given secrets to the CCP.
More than one person has pointed out that California’s government seems to increasingly embrace the methods and attitudes of the Chinese Communist Party and the Red Chinese government. The Democratic Party, led by extremists, is apparently in permanent control of the huge State.
We worry about China’s control of the Panama Canal, built with the dollars and blood, sweat, and tears of Americans, then given away. We worry about China threatening the Philippines and Taiwan, and buying farmland in various parts of the States. Maybe our so-called leaders and intelligence community need to figure out if one (or more?) of the Fifty States has decided that the future lies with China?
