It seems that the current regime – staffers in the White House who do not have Uncle Joe’s excuse of senility – lies simply for lies’ sake.

We have a disgusting example of that this week. As most readers probably know, our Beloved Senile Leader (BSL – Uncle Joe) was in Vietnam and then in Alaska for Bloody Tuesday – the 22nd Anniversary of the 9-11 attacks.

Not only did Uncle Joe state in his speech at a military base in Alaska that he was at Ground Zero in NYC the next day (he wasn’t – there is hardcopy and video proof that he was in DC the entire day), but one of his shills (or his controllers’ shills) told Reporter Peter Doocy that “When I asked a White House official why it is that President Biden was here [in Vietnam] and missing the 9/11 commemorations at the attack sites, the analogy that I was given is: 22 years after Pearl Harbor, U.S. presidents were not still going to visit Hawaii,” Doocy said.

Well, a quick bit of research by one of our TPOL staffers revealed that it was actually 21-1/2 years after Pearl Harbor – on 6 June 1963 (the Japanese attack was on 7 December 1941) that ANY president visited Pearl Harbor specifically to commenorate the attack! Specifically John F. Kennedy – a Democrat when Democrats weren’t Woke. (Of course, I suspect that JFK might have gone through Pearl en route to and from the combat zone between 1942 and 1945 – just not as POTUS.) FDR met with his military leaders at Pearl Harbor in 1944, but that was for military planning. Truman was in Hawaii once, and probably visited the memorial, or at least the site.

But since Kennedy’s visit just months before his murder, it appears that at least Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Obama, and Trump have all visited the USS Arizona memorial, at least some on the anniversary date of the 1941 attack.

One of the few positive things about the American presidency is the president’s function as a focus of national remembrance and healing after attacks, tragedies, and disasters. I suppose that we could argue that getting the seatwarmer in the Oval Office to play this role is a good thing: weaning Americans away from the idea of POTUS as an elected monarch with some version of the King’s Touch. But that makes the rest of the powers and actions of the president stand out even more as the evil and enemy of liberty that they are.

And in the meantime, we see that Biden’s lies may not all because of senile delusions: it is a standard tactic and policy of the thugs that rule DC and lord it over Americans.

An afterword: I suppose we lovers of liberty could try and spin the failure of Uncle Joe to go to NYC or Pennsylvania or even the Pentagon as a positive. Was he (or his handlers) is so disgusted by the hypocrisy concerning the Bloody Tuesday attacks that they can’t stomach being there? Promoting what many claim is a falsehood that the attack was done by an Islamist fanatic against an innocent nation and people?

Nah, the last 2+ years show that none of them, and certainly not Uncle Joe, senile or not, have any problem with being hypocritical.
