We could also include a long list of talking heads – apparently as of today including RFK Jr – who so very desperately want The Donald back.
Combined with the never-Trumpers and their viceral hatred of The Donald, the last four days of Democratic joy and fun and big names in the Windy City may result in the following scene in November.
At the same time, there are some wags that are telling us (1) this is the most important election in American history (and maybe since Creation or at least since the Romans crucified Christ) and (2) that the polling places with both be mobbed and be threatened with political violence ala Venezuela and India and 1940s Texas.
That is why, I understand, that instructions have gone out about spreading out the election days. Only evil Donald-lovers like Hannity and Rush’s understudies are telling people to go vote by mail or walk-in early. The real deal, or so I hear on the street, is scheduled voting. Jot this down: Libertarians, Greens, and RFK Jr holdouts are supposed to vote on Tuesday 5 November. Democrats are supposed to vote on Wednesday 6 November. And Republicans are supposed to vote on Thursday 7 November.
The dead? Under Uncle Joe and Aunt Caommie, they get to vote early:
