The news this last weekend show that the end of 2025 is no better than the rest of the year. We aren’t talking about the traditional holiday wars on what decorations can be put where, and what people can use as greetings for the season. Or even what songs can be sung or broadcast. Nope, we are talking about shooting, knifing, and other ways of killing people.

A quick summary:

Some killer, now supposedly captured, attacked an exam study session in a large classroom in Brown University, leaving dead and wounded students.

Two killers, for once already branded “terrorists” by media and police, attacked a Chunnakah party at Bondi Beach in Australia on Saturday or Sunday (time zones confusion), killing at least 16 and wounding about 40 or so. The killers were a father and son; it is claimed that the six weapons used and found on site after the father was killed by cops were “legally, licensed” to the dead killer.

As of about noon on Sunday, there were already nine people shot (and killed? unsure) in Chicago this weekend.

And the killing of Rob and Michele Reiner (apparently by their son) is the subject of a great deal of discussion today. Their son has mental problems, apparently: not your usual holiday depression.

The season of depression and terror is apparently upon us, for its usual annual visit. Supposedly, depression is caused by short sunlight hours and the “oppression” of religious commemorations (you know, Chunnakah, Christmas, and El Eid). But Australia is almost as secular as Western Europe and it is high summer down under. (Oddly enough, one of the heroes who stopped the killing may be a muslim. Or he may have literally seen the light and abandoned that evil faith.)

So what is triggering all this? Contaminants in the water? Vaccines? Drugs? Full moon? (Nope. That was on the 4th of December.) Hatred is a generic term but seems to be the case.

We have not heard of any supposed motives for the Brown University killer. It is assumed that the Bondi Beach pair are antisemitic: hate Jews, since that is who was there. Whether it is Islamic Jew-hate or some other flavor, apparently in Sidney (Australia, not Nebraska), it was Muslims marching and demanding to “Gas the Jews.” Chicago? The city is a cesspool, run by the scum creatures that make the darkest of fairy tales seem light-hearted. But Chicago is only relatively worse, not different, from 99 of 100 American core cities: vicious, parasitical, tyrannical, and Woke government presides over an urban landscape and populace with corruption and conditions that also make Gotham City seem well-ordered and bright.

It isn’t just the big cities that see a rise in shootings, killings, and other sorts of evil. On Saturday night, what appears to be some sort of gang violence in Rapid City, SD (near the base of TPOL) left one shot and killed at a major street intersection in a “good part of town.” A juvenile is being sought.

Nor is the killing just confined to the Anglo parts of the planet. Two Iowa soldiers were killed in Syria. By one of their own security force, apparently. How stupid are we anyway? (For example, why didn’t the FedGov hire former SS Waffen soldiers to provide security for US bases in occupied Germany late in 1945? Gee, I wonder why?)

The only thing more crazy, more stupid, about all these incidents? And more evil? That we can lay the blame for the conditions that allowed these killings to take place firmly on government and the stupid disarmament of people and regulations and laws that keep people from protecting themselves and others. And depend on government thugs for protection.

We are not saying that government killed these people directly. But government officials made decisions and took actions that got all of these people in situations where evil people killed them.
