2018- the face of evil

By Nathan Barton

Todd Starnes, a conservative political commentator, posted a disturbing video on his website on 4th January 2018. It was apparently recorded at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville this recent fall.

The headline is actually misleading: the young, guileless-faced man is actually suggesting that the legal age of being human is two years after birth. And that not just infants but toddlers can be “aborted” (killed before or after birth, obviously). But his stated test for sentience (ability to communicate) may include people of any age, especially anyone with severe developmental disabilities or injuries.

No doubt, this test for humanity, for being worthy of life and liberty (what little freedom and liberty might still be allowed) will be further refined by the young man and his fellow snowflakes as he “matures” and learns more about power and control.  History shows that usually means widening the definition of what is NOT human.  Who is NOT “deserving” of life and liberty.  Not just those not able to communicate, but those unable to communicate “effectively enough.” Those unable to “properly” care for themselves.  Those unable to contribute “enough” and then those who are unwilling to contribute “enough.” And the list will go on and on.

Look deeply and carefully into that face. It is the face of evil in 21st Century America.  It is not the face of amorality, but of immorality.  Looks innocent, no?  Just like the pictures of John Wayne Gacy, the young Manson, or Jeffrey Dahlmer.  It is the face of too many Tranzis today, but it is a face like that of young SS soldaten from 1933 to 1945, of young Imperial gunjin from 1905 to 1945,  of fervent Kymer Rouge in the Cambodian killing fields, and yes, of young New Englander and Midwestern volunteers in blue responding to Father Abraham’s call in 1861.

Look at the face.  This is a man who believes that he decides who is human and “worthy” of living and what is subhuman and can be killed, tortured, used for experiments, processed for whatever.  It is the ultimate, the extreme, of the controller mentality who believe that some humans are able and should control others and their lives.  It is the attitude, at heart, of the statist.  Not just the totalitarian, the supporter of tyranny and dictatorship and absolute monarchy, but the advocate of “democracy” and any sort of non-voluntary, mandatory, human government.

It is the face of one who takes upon themselves the guise of the Creator, assumes the powers and prerogatives of deity, places themselves above other humans, in place of or between God the Father and men and women.

It is the face of evil.

It is the face of our enemy.  The enemy of liberty.  The enemy of freedom.  The enemy of humankind.

An enemy that must be fought, in every possible way.  But especially with every tool we have to reach and teach them with the truth. To win them OVER from evil, not simply to destroy them.  To rescue them from evil.

For (whether you are religious or not), the greatest victims of the evil living in this young man and his ilk (the progressives, the Tranzis, the snowflakes, the statists, the social justice warriors, etc.) are they themselves.  They enslave others to keep themselves enslaved and further their slavery to their fears and doubts and passions.  In large part, they fear others because they fear themselves.

I am not saying that resistance is futile or unnecessary: it may be necessary to kill people like this to defend ourselves and others from their evil actions. But we should take no joy in doing that, for they (however evil they may be) deserve life and liberty as well.

So first, let us try and teach them the evil of their ways and rescue them from that evil.  Not in groups, but one by one. It is, will be, hard, but it is worth the effort.

And we know.  We will win.  Liberty will win.  Good will win. Evil – even evil as great as this – will lose.

Mama’s Note: I don’t think that it is possible to re-educate these evil people. When reasoned discourse is obviously no defense against outright aggression in any other case, I don’t know how it could effectively change the mind of those who lust to control others.  I can’t help but emphasize the fact that the lust to control other people is the root of all evil. Is it possible to reason with an avalanche? Is a murderer influenced to become a peaceful man by the words of the intended victim? I don’t think so. We can hope, of course, and some may even try it. Good luck with it.

You are no doubt right 99.9% of the time. And the only response to those that are beyond redemption (other than prayer for their souls) is to be prepared to defend ourselves and our loved ones from their evil. Not just physically, but morally as well: we must keep them from infecting us and others with their evil. So even if reasoning with them fails to bring them back from the Dark Side, it may be just what is needed to keep them from seducing others.

I agree, ML. These people are what are commonly referred to as “spoiled goods”. They are beyond redemption, and I for one make no attempt to reason with them or to turn them away from the Dark Side. It’s a waste of time, and more often than not opens you up for attack.
