Warning: Satire, folks!
Just hours after Trump signed an executive order condemned widely by Jews and others as one more example of his antisemitism, Jew-haters in Jersey City attacked a kosher grocery store, killing Jews and a cop.
This is fully understandable, because not only was their hate of Jews enflamed by Trump’s latest action (of many), but their own race (African-American) has been further marginalized and disadvantaged by red-hat MAGA bigots imitating Trump’s racism, as well.
If Trump had been one or the other, just racist or just antisemitic, this tragedy may not have occurred. Sadly, these two black people were not able to survive their misguided attack. Again, much of the fault for this can be laid at the feet of Donald Trump and his constant praise (even worship) of the military and police. This encouraged the massive military-style response of police from miles around, firing hundreds of rounds from evil assault weapons and killing the poor, disadvantaged people. So they are denied their rights to a fair trial, to boot.
More seriously, (again, the above is satire), once more we see an attack against a soft target by a known terrorist group. A group at least roughly aligned with regressivists and known extremists. And again, we see a police response totally unjustified and which may have made the entire situation much worse than it had been.
If bystanders in the street, in the community, had been observant and armed, the attack might have been suppressed before the killers entered the store. If anyone in the store had been armed (a difficult situation in the “woke” Jersey City), the killers might have been stopped before they killed some or all of those they did. And perhaps the community might not have been terrorized for hours and endured the concentration and actions of a military force more common in active war zones. And for what reason? The massive response served no real purpose: it did not stop or prevent the crime, and probably made matters far worse.
Worse, the response of federal agents in a situation which had NO interstate connections or threats bodes ill for the future.
The reaction by infamous members of Congress – and blaming Trump – comes as no surprise. But it is indeed disappointing, and shows the growing bias and hatred in the very highest levels of government. And the growing divides in the Fifty States. Especially since it appears that some celebrities, and the media, want to blame the victims for invading the “original” community.
