It seems that our modern version of Stephen of Cloyes, and Nicholas of Koeln (the young men who led the Children’s Crusade in 1212), has “matured” politically.
From the UK’s Daily Mail, we read her latest speech. It’s pretty clear, at least how the Mail translates it:
Greta Thunberg told cheering protesters today ‘we will make sure we put world leaders against the wall’ if they fail to take urgent action on climate change. The Swedish teen activist was addressing the crowd at a Fridays for Future protest in Turin, Italy.

That sounds political – indeed, the kind of rhetoric that Communists use. This young woman (she is NOT a child, no matter what is claimed) has clearly made her decision as to what political philosophy she has. It is reinforced by her own posting, and the obvious lies in it.
I assume that the posting and the photo are intentional on her part and that of her handlers. You can’t wear an “Antifascist All Stars” tee-shirt and claim to be apolitical. You might claim to be “nonviolent” or “pacifist” and be Antifa. Just as you can claim to be a non-violent Communist. And have some people believe you.
But not with the words she proclaimed in Turin, Italy. The Italian Communists, still strong after nearly a century in Northern Italy, surely welcomed her words. They’ve used them often enough themselves. And acted on them. As have their comrades virtually around the world.
The pogroms or purges have never been limited to a particular special group or category, of course. Just like taxes, they quickly expand their scope. We are already seeing that in the “war on climate change” which is really just a war on people’s freedoms, using the excuse of global warming both to terrify people into compliance and to justify more and more controls on every aspect of daily life.
This woman is nothing but the point of their spear. A tool, perhaps, but one who has been carefully honed for her task. And is surely at least somewhat aware of her servitude to the cause. And very willing, in part because she has been brainwashed her entire life, as well as being trained to be a public figure. But she is one of hundreds of thousands, and she is not doing this alone.
Manmade global warming, or climate change, or global meltdown: whatever you call it, it is an excuse for more socialism. And no matter how you package it, how you pretty it up, socialism is control and tyranny. Even if it is a “democratic” tyranny.
