The Price of Liberty makes no bones about just we think of Beloved Senile Leader (BSL). As corrupt and (now probably titular) powerful crime lord, as a liar to rival Baron Munchausen, as a poster child for exposing abuse of the elderly and galloping senility, we think he is the epitome of success. And he seems determined to preside over the decline of a great empire.
It’s happened before, of course: consider the last Inca, or closer to home, Montezuma II. Centuries of work, power and advancement vanished in a matter of months. Or go back farther in time to the collapse of the Chaldean (Neo-Babylonian) Empire after the death of Nebbucannezer and untimely death of his successor. History is full of such successes.
But sometimes…
Maybe we have to give more credit to BSL (or his puppetmasters) than we have.
Consider. He has just created the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, as reported by ZeroHedge.com. And he has appointed his skilled, well-spoken, highly-experienced, and much-loved VPOTUS, Kammie Harris herself, to oversee this effort. An effort described by many as a massive, renewed assault on our right to keep and bear arms. For the defense of ourselves, others, and our property. Among other things.
Do we correctly understand this is the motive and the objective here?
Really?
It has been just two and a half years (March of 2021) since he appointed her a lead the administration’s efforts to stem immigration at the borders of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. (CBS News)
The success of her efforts and those of the tens of thousands of government officials and jack-booted thugs, influencers, media types, and volunteers cannot be misunderstood. Two and a half years of hard work is paying off. Just a couple of days ago, thousands streamed across the Rio Grande at Eagle Pass, Axios claims 181,000 successfully entered the US without papers in August. The VPOTUS has done “a heckuva job” to quote Pres. Bush II in just 30 months.
Which seems to be why more and more Democrats in Congress and in City Halls across the Fifty States seem to be giving up on Open Borders and other policies and “demanding that something be done.” NOW.
It might appear to some observers that he is playing a complex game of 3D chess. Support the agenda, make a big deal, watch and get everything to turn totally chaotic, and end up building a coalition – unwilling or not – to address the root causes. (As they see them, at least.) Of course, he (or his puppetmasters) didn’t just depend on the wisdom of a woman of color who knows which side of the sheets the good stuff is on. He also did things like authorize a half-million Venezuelans fleeing a Communist-caused humanitarian crisis to stay in the States, further aggravating the situation.
Like Brer Rabbit? “Force me to take serious action.” Never mind what the Democratic 2024 Platform is going to say, look at what BSL did?
So, is that what he’s going to do now with his new gun-control czar? Will she succeed in controlling gun violence and all the rest of that like she did in stemming migration across Mexico? Like she did in combatting crime not just in San Francisco but the entire State of California? (Again, we must admit the incredible results of her work from 2004 to 2017 in those jurisdictions!)
She doesn’t have as much time to work her magic, of course: less than 14 months to the 2024 election. But she has all that experience! Maybe she can do such an amazing job that by November of next year, it won’t be just 80 million Americans who own guns, but 160 million! That gun violence numbers would have risen so stupendously that Democrats and Republicans will join together to repeal every gun law that keeps people from being able to defend themselves? That even the Gun Control Inc., Brady Campaign, Everytown and even Million Moms will conduct their rallies and protests armed to the teeth as they demand that school staff and teachers protect their children from predators? With as many weapons and as much ammo as the staff and teachers can carry?

And maybe this sarcastic commentary is being written by someone as divorced from reality as DSL.
