We aren’t much into sports allusions, but it appears that Dear Beloved 81-year-old “Leader of the Free World” (or is that Fee Whirled?) now has at least two big strikes against him.

As far as both his Democrat foot soldiers AND voters AND powers-that-be, that is. The ones that count in the warped, corrupt world of Democratic Party politics in DC and the key States for the 2024 election.

The first strike is war:

Ukraine seems to be faltering – even near collapse, and yet Uncle Joe (or his handlers) continues to shovel money at it, and NATO (including the US) seems intent on changing it from a proxy war against Russia to an all-out war. And even a nuclear one.

But the foolish and inconsistent behavior about the Second Yom Kippur (Hamas-Israel) War is also part of the equation. Uncle Joe says all the right words, but the actual support is a wee bit lacking in the eyes of many. Yet the White House seems as determined to get into war with Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria, and Iran as it is with Russia. (As if we were not actually fighting against Syria in many ways, just as the Israelis are.)

And then we have China. Uncle Joe seems to be intent on irritating Xi, who has a personality disorder seeming greater than Mao ever had. And real issues, admittedly, over Taiwan and the Philippines.

The second strike is more and more obvious nearly daily: age.

Not only did Uncle Joe celebrate his 81st birthday on Monday (20 November), but every misstep, figuratively by word or literal, points out that he is old, decrepit, and showing every mile of his corrupt journey through life. So much so that more and more Democrats are really worried.

Especially when they look at the cackling wicked witch of the west sitting in Blair House counting the days. Like most things coming out of San Francisco – except maybe the refugees from Wokeness – she is not exactly what even many Democrats want to have in charge. Not that Gavin Newsom would be any better from the point of view of lovers of liberty or even conservatives. The track record of San Fran is bad: Boxer, Feinstein, Pelosi, Newsom, Harris – and not just age.

So. Is there a “third strike” to send Uncle Joe to the dugout – or even to the showers?

There are lots of possibilities for a third strike, of course.

The economy continues to falter. The supply chains are not really improving that much. (If you haven’t already ordered your Christmas gifts, it may be too late. And it might be a good idea to save your leftover turkey for the winter solstice.) And inflation? Perhaps even worse than the 1970s? Many indications are there. Together with the de-dollarization of the world: something predicted for years but now perhaps coming true finally?

Or will it be – finally – the complete exposure of the Biden crime family? Not just Hunter and his dad, but brothers and relatives in general. And we must ask ourselves: if the family members are the capos, just who are their soldiers? Will it be political and other names that we know? Or will there be more revelations past and present?

Culture warfare is also another possibility: Uncle Joe has made it known that he is a firm and strong supporter of all of the transgender and LGB activists pushing more and more than tolerance, including gender-affirming surgery. And it appears that more and more Americans are riled up about these sorts of things. It appears that most Americans are willing to be tolerant, but have problems with getting these things rammed down their throats – especially when it includes taking away the power of parents over their children. This seems to include both non-religious and religious people.

Closely related to that is the overall Democratic pushing so-called abortion rights. Again Uncle Joe has made it clear (courtesy of teleprompters, of course) that he has veered far to the “left” on putting down the unborn and even the near-born. While the mainstream media clearly and strongly pushes the meme that a majority of Americans support treating unborn humans as blobs of flesh, this still is an important issue for many “conservative” Democratic voters.

Whatever the third strike might be, there is less than a year for that to be pitched. Which is certainly a logical reason that the White House, its minions, and Woke Democratic leaders across the Fifty States are trying with growing desperation to deny Trump ballot access and see him convicted of anything that they possibly can. While painting Trump, Johnson, DeSantis, and every other prominent GOP types as evil fascist and racist monsters worse than Hitler, Stalin, or Pol Pot. (Note: TPOL is not saying the GOP people are good, are not socialist, even fascist, or good for the States; just that they are not worse than the statist monsters of the 20th Century.)

The bottom line? The faults and dangers of democracy are again before us. The various mechanisms and rituals of the old republic might keep everything from descending into chaos. We might even bet on it. And certainly pray that the future ahead of us is better!
