Political correctness – the human race (not)

TPOL continues to look at, comment (and make fun of) the ThirdWay’s list of verboten words for the Woke, SJW, and regressives when that gang of enemies of liberty try to cozen people. Today, we have five bad words for the Woke et al to NOT use.

Five deal with racial matters. Of course, we here at TPOL reject the idea of anything other than a “human race” and deplore the divisive nature of racism, anti-racism, and post-racism. Oh, we recognize that there are human “breeds.” You know, like Siamese and Persian, Calico and Manx… oops! Those are cat breeds. We mean like Hereford and Angus and Longhorns and… nope, those are cattle. And humans are neither cats nor cattle.

ThirdWay points out that the five words to follow are signals that talking about races is a minefield to avoid. Or die. TPOL is considered by many to be racists since we do not use the latest and greatest politically correct terminology. Well, we simply say, “No, I won’t.” That’s freedom.

  1. Latinx – A meaningless “gender-neutral” term that is gross and disgusting, like Exxon and not to be confused with Gen X or the X-Men (X-People? X-Men is sexist, no? No Phoenix, no Storm, no Rogue.) And insulting, like (when you get right down to it) Latin and Latina, which it is supposed to replace.
  2. BIPOC – no, not insulation you stuff in a sleeping bag or parka. Just a convenient (and tasteless and even cruel) way of lumping some people into rather artificial groups. It is supposed to highlight the “specific injustices and challenges” – yet is so generic. No wonder ThirdWay is worked up about it alienating those they are trying to convert.
  3. Allyship. We had to look this one up. Another way of describing it is, “the nature of a fellow traveler” which of course is too blatantly communist. You have to explain it has nothing to do with TV actresses.
  4. Intersectionality. Like the last one, we had to look this up. Ah, the brave naming of peak discrimination: all sorts of discrimination all rolled into one Gordian knot. Apparently, it is the way that the vanguard of society demonstrate their allyship, by lumping all the ways BIPOC are marginalized and oppressed all into one very generic word. No doubt ThirdWay is concerned it will be confused with traffic control and highwayengineering.
  5. Minoritized communities. More groups of people lumped together as being members of social groups that experience systematic marginalization and oppression (and persecution) because of general factors like “race” and ethnicity and socio-economic status. It is supposed to be a replace for mere numbers as in “minority vote” or “minority population.” Confused yet? We are.

We suspect this list could be much longer but assume that ThirdWoke is lumping the variants all together in a very specific yet generic way.

To us, it is obvious that these words, when used by the proponents of regressivism and opponents of liberty (individual, economic, or societial) would be understood by many normal, not-yet-brainwashed people as actually promoting division. And so turn people off and perhaps even insulate them from brainwashing.

But what do we know? We are definitely (by the Woke and SJW fraternity) a bunch of bigoted, monstrous racists.
