The dominant narrative, repeatedly reinforced via a wide range of channels, marketing, propaganda, and censorship – particularly during the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak- is that all vaccines, including the mRNA and adenovirus genetic therapy-based vaccines, are “safe and effective.” This typically unqualified but oft-repeated phrase has characteristics of a catechism of faith repeated by “true believers” of a vaccine-promoting cult of public health officers, academics dependent on the vaccine industry, industrial vaccinologists, the vast majority of specialist physician guilds (that universally accept funding from vaccine-manufacturing corporations), and their surrogates. Surrogates include corporate media, politicians, and academic journals that almost universally also accept significant direct or indirect funding from vaccine manufacturers. Any who question any aspect of this catechism are typically attacked, censored, and ostracized by cult members.
Call it the “Gospel of the Caduceus” – only the priesthood of qualified and anointed medical personnel and their holy drugs can save lives.
Indeed, it is one of several networked “neo-religions” that are pushed by (and push for) government. Lots and lots of government. Like “educators” (the educrats, administrators, faculty, teachers, even teacher’s aides and no doubt cafeteria cooks and bus drivers), government urges (even requires) us to surrender control over much of our lives to these “civil servants” who are the “vanguard” of the people.
Although we can it a “neo-religion” (new religion), this idea is actually quite old. All too often, the ruler who ascended to the throne over the bleeding bodies of his opponents (and lovers of liberty), then proclaimed that he (or she) was a child of the gods and would speak on behalf of his subjects to intervene with the gods. Nowadays, they do away with that sort of rhetoric and just claim that they (the rulers) are following the science and the priests of irrefutable and undeniable science. And the rulers’ intervention “with the gods” consists of shoveling money at the so-called scientists and their holy institutions.
The end result is the same: poverty and slavery. For everyone but the rulers and their pet priests.
Even true science should not be considered to be a religion – a way to guide us through life. But for decades, indeed, several centuries, too many people have done just that. But science is a tool: a tool that, like knives and guns, can be used both to preserve or restore liberty, or to tyrannize and terrorize others. The products that can be produced by “applied science” (that is, engineering!) can be and are used for both good and for evil. The same scapel that can remove diseased flesh and cancers can also be used to torture and dismember bodies. The same chemicals and biological compounds that can be used to heal injury, disease, and illness can be used to poison, weaken, and kill.
One thing that science and religion have in common is that they can be twisted, warped, and perverted. For profit and power. Only if we are alert and cognizant of the hazards and what we risk, can we be prepared to take actions to avoid or overcome these tactics. For decades, we stumbled along blindly as a people, as societies and cultures.
We can no longer afford to do that: not if we wish to be free, live in peace, and prosper.
The choice is ours.
