Really?

Everyone knows that guns are verboten in Canada. Along with saying anything that might be viewed as negative towards homosexuals, transgenders, or Muslims. But as with any Animal Farm society, some animals are more equal than others. A few weeks ago, several “professional marksmen” used guns to kill almost 400 ostriches. You see, enforcers of a despotism are exempt from gun prohibitions. The hay bales made it a “turkey shoot” – the birds were sitting ducks. (Puns intended)
But this is a serious matter. Not in the wild, as you can see, but a domestic flock belonging to a private farmer in British Columbia. Why? Because of avian flu.
Oh, these birds didn’t have avian (bird) flu. But they might have gotten it. And they might have spread it to other birds. And the flu virus might have mutated and been transmitted to humans. So the “cull order” (nice euphemism, eh?) was the equivalent of social distancing and wearing masks by healthy people to prevent the spread of beer flu (COVIS-19 or SARS-2).
Oh, and what did the Canadian (or BC) government pay Universal Ostrich Farms for this taking? This destruction? Zip. Nada. Nothing. It was only the “service” that any loyal subject of the King owed to his lords and masters in Ottawa (and theoretically London). (A service that, like the nuclear-tipped missiles from the planet Magaratha, are offered only to their most persistant customers/slaves.)
The birds, and the farmer, were just more victims of the totalitarian overreach of His Majesty’s Canadian government. They were clearly disease free. People offered to accept them south of the border in Washington or Idaho or Montana. I guess they were saved from a fate worse than death: everyone knows that both Idahoans and Montanans are hate-filled, racist, evil, meat-eaters. (As are most of Eastern Washington: you don’t think the noble, high-minded Woke people of Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula would off sanctuary to a bunch of birds with a pandemic at stake?)
Instead, after being left out in the open for a while (thus drawing scavengers, predators, and the like, and exposing them to the supposed flu virus), the carcasses of the birds (media claims only 317) were buried very deeply in a landfill. They weren’t even allowed to be “recycled” as compost or soil amendments in the same way as human “eco-funerals” which are increasingly popular in Woke regions.
Inhabitants of the Fifty States can be grateful that we are not under the thumb of Ottawa and Food Canada (The Canadian Food Inspection Agency, to be specific). Indeed, various Stateside government agencies even offered to accept and protect the birds and everyone around them. The Supreme Court of Canada refused and denied a stay of execution. You can read about this travesty of justice and worship of regulations here.
But the CDC, FDA, and NIH all have the same deadly symptoms of megalomania and bureaucratitis and lust for power that the CFIA exhibited in BC.
Why did the price of eggs reach a staggering $8-$10/dozen recently? (Now have fallen back to the $2/dozen range.) Because millions and millions of laying hens were destroyed, the carcasses buried for fear of bird flu. Just as many human Americans died due to stupidity and bureaucracy (I know, not much difference) because of beer flu.
And why more and more headlines claim that COVID is amongst us, and other horrible, fatal diseases are just incubating all over the States, waiting to jump out and inflect, inflict, injure and … eliminate us, we guess. Don’t believe it.
As with abortion – killing of innocent infants in the womb (even if only partly) – such massacres of livestock, pets, and all sorts of varieties of humans seems to be a religious practice of sorts. Admittedly of an evil religion. Just like human government.
Which is why we see the same things on the battlefields of the Russo-Ukraine War, the Islamic- and Jewish- driving killing fields of Canaan, Nigeria, and much of Africa and Asia. And what is threatened
Think about these things.
