On 31 January 2025, just a few days after The Donald took office for his second term and nominated his various cabinet officers, this graphic was published by some MAGA/MAHA types. People worried about the overall state of “health care” (read, the Medical Industrial Complex) in the States, and hoping, praying, even expecting some things to start to improve.
Looking back nearly two years, how many of these threats to human health and life have really, REALLY been addressed?
We do not know how much (if any) these diseases and disorders have increased in nearly two years. Or indeed, if any of these have decreased. Admittedly, twenty months is not a long time for some of these to be addressed and to see impacts from actions taken by the current regime in DC. But we suspect that most of these continue to increase.
We are constantly learning more and more about why these diseases and disorders are growing more common. It certainly is NOT just a matter of increased population. Or even of floods of border jumpers bringing them in with them. (A fear very common a century ago.) Nor is it, if we believe budgets and mainstream media, due to a lake of spending gads of money to try and solve them. (Of course, most of those are still demanding more and more spending, aren’t they?)
As far as RFKJr is concerned, we see opinions across the board. At least some people think that he is a fraud, a shill for those who do not want to see things like this done. In fact, more and more people (if still a tiny minority) think that the massive increases in diseases and disorders are induced. A result of intentional human actions, with multiple goals. One being a massive reduction in our population, worldwide but especially in the States. Others see him as being trapped and hoodwinked by the permanent bureaucracy and Big Pharma, concerned for power, revenue, and jobs.
After all, if your work is for the purpose of solving a problem, and you actually solve the problem, what happens to your job?
If you desire security more than honesty, liberty, or living up to a pledge or professional ethics? You do not do anything to jeopardize your job. Your income. And what you fondly believe is your future.
Is this RFKJr’s problem? Or the Donald’s? Or is what we are seeing because this is the attitude of not just high-powered FedGov employees (including some political appointees, without a doubt) but also at least some people in academia and the medical community/industry.
We share this cartoon, which is not an exact quote of any school of medicine, but widely acknowledged by honest and brave people. Including students and graduates of those schools.
Clearly, those who believed that The Donald appointing RFKJr (and getting the Senate to confirm him) were naive and apparently believe all the “facts” that were taught in high school civics class.
And we also point out that it is not just the federal government – most State health agencies have the same attitude. For example, in as generally free a State as Wyoming, the State’s health officials have continued to play various games and ignore reality.
Until Americans stop trusting their health to government agencies, and stop treating medical service providers like an esoteric priesthood to be obeyed and all but worshipped, these results will not change.
Government is not your friend. Neither are entities which view you as prey and not people.
