Arabian chaos

By Nathan Barton
Deutsche Well reports from Yemen that the on-going war has shifted as Saudi invaders back Saleh loyalists against Houthis.

It is more than a bit confusing: “A military coalition led by Saudi Arabia launched airstrikes against Shiite rebel targets on the outskirts of Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, on Sunday in an apparent move to bolster forces loyal to ex-President Ali Abdullah Saleh against their former allies, the Houthis. On Saturday, Saleh said he is open to discussing the conflict with Saudi leaders, after his alliance with Iran-aligned Shiite rebels known as Houthis collapsed earlier this week, marking a major turning point in the conflict. … Saudi Arabia entered the conflict in March 2015 to prop up [the Saudi puppet regime] of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi.”

Is anyone else reminded of the bizarre switches in alliances (and the propaganda) from the novel 1984?

Or perhaps I should compare it to a basketball game, where at half-time, the coaches trade half their players to each other for the second half – but don’t bother to have the players change their uniforms? “You can’t tell the players without a scorecard,” indeed!

Does this also mean that the FedGov, in support of its Saudi thug allies, will also switch sides in the Yemenese civil war? Or will USN and USAF aircraft now be confronting Saudi aircraft in the skies above Yemen as they have been doing above Syria?

I wish that wouldn’t happen, but fear it is very likely.

Just as government scams us all, they too are very susceptible to scams, as Marcon’s recent welfare deal for 13 American “scientists” shows (see the other commentary). People in DC WANT to believe that “this time” it will be different and the various Arab factions that they support will either be the right ones, this time, or have become the right ones by accepting and following western ways of doing things.

What is worse is that the taxpayers, fleeced for the money (past, present and in the future) to fight these wars, are scammed even more. As are, all too often, the troops – soldiers, sailors, and airmen – who go out and fight those wars, supposedly to preserve our freedom.

And it is nothing new. Reading of the campaigns of Mohammed (peanut butter und honig), we see he played the same sort of games. As have his successors, and virtually every other Arab and Muslim ruler and warlord for the last thirteen or so centuries.

Not that “Christendom” and Europe and the West are any different. The encyclopedias, including Wikipedia, have a very hard time explaining who is on what side when in conflicts like the Thirty Years War. And even in more recent wars, the countries changed sides pretty regularly. Remember that Italy started OUT in the Great War (First World War) as an ally of Imperial Germany and Imperial Austria-Hungary, but ultimately ended up going to war with Austria-Hungary. And Imperial (Czarist) Russia was an ally of France and the United Kingdom, until the Communists took over and the Russians became “neutral” and then actually found itself occupied by British, French, and American armies. Then, twenty years later, France was defeated by Germany and “Vichy France” (that part not occupied directly by Germany) was fighting against its original ally (the British Empire) on the side (if reluctantly) of Germany.

However we look at it, this shows the moral bankruptcy of the various Arab and Muslim rulers and gangs – and of those who support any of them: American, Russia, Iranian, or others. And just one more reason to bring them (the troops) all home, and let the people of the Ummah clean up their own mess.

Mama’s Note: All insanity of the highest order. The bottom line, as I insist on repeating, is the desire/compulsion and delusion of nearly everyone – and most assuredly every politician and banker – to control the lives and property of everyone else. This is the root of all evil, all aggression, all wars, all non-voluntary governments.

saudi arabia and israel are lining things up to bring the u. s. into direct confrontation and war with iran. saudi arabia and israel will grease the slides and the wealth/blood of this nation will be what ends up on the greased slides.

what happens in the middle east is not our business. it has only become so because the ‘leaders’ we ‘choose’ by ‘voting’ have made it their, and, therefore, our business. this has been done to assure their gain of power and wealth. that it has lead to our loss of power, wealth and many of our children as the final outcome of such foolhardy choices does not cross the mind of those making the choices. after all, they and theirs NEVER, EVER pay the price. it is only yours and mine that pay the price.

the history of empires is that all have ended due to bankruptcy attempting to continue funding the empires. this nation, while not admitting it, is indeed the center of an empire with several hundred military bases in over a hundred nations and is, also while not admitting it, bankrupt. the time will come and it will be shown, once again, the foolishness of empire. this time, it will be turn of this nation to prove such.

it will not end well, but end it will.
