This 2022 election night is going to be a long one. (Aren’t they all?)

Keep in mind that staying up later and later to see who and what won will not change the results a single bit. Unless you have a really, REALLY big bet on something and just can’t wait, staying up late won’t do a bit of good. Even if you have big investments riding on the results of who stays and who gets in power, remember the stock markets will open at their usual times on Wednesday. (As will the betting parlors, for that matter.

In the meantime, breathe deeply, relax, and turn that silly boob tube (even if it is a flatscreen or a computer monitor) OFF! Find a good – NON-POLITICAL – book to read. Enjoy a nice dinner. Call it a night.
