As we come to an end of 2022, truly a horrible year in so many ways, we need to stop, take a deep breath, and smile.

Totally unlike what Mama Liberty and we other members of TPOL have almost always done, we want to share some smiles, some fun, some not so serious stuff.

But being TPOL as well, we can’t help but comment on some things in regards to these pictures. Enjoy!

As my sons (and their wives) reminded me recently with new purchases, this is definitely a true statement!

This next picture came out in 2019. Now that we are getting ready for the fourth year of the Twenties, we can see that the “Roaring Twenties” (1920-1929) were kinda mild. But they went steadily downhill. Are we going to see the same in the current “Raging Twenties?”

Of course, the big difference between the two decades is that the Roaring Twenties’ gangsters were mostly private enterprise type fellas. Today, in the Raging Twenties, most seem to be government types. As we will see in the next picture, they are not really all that stylish, either.

At the risk of being accused of an ad hominem attack, the next picture does indeed raise a lot of questions and quips. As we soon bid farewell to Miz Nancy, at least as the Speaker, we really do wish her and hubby Paul will fare very well in the new year and the rest of their lives. Even as we remind them who said “Vengence is mine. I will avenge.”

Finally, just to emphasize just where The Price of Liberty stands, and what the price of Liberty often involves. (If anyone wants this with their name in the second title, we’ll do that for the first 25 people. Just as a gift.
