It’s snowing today in NE Wyoming. High today is 37 degrees, up from a low of 11 a few days ago.
So much for “global warming.”
I’m already counting the days to spring and my next garden. I have heat on now, earlier than usual. But maybe that’s because I’ve lost so much weight and now feel the cold more. Such is life.
Is winter coming on where you live? What are you doing differently?
I would like to reply BUT

It’s been in the low 30’s for about a week here in SE Wisconsin. No snow though. Heat is on. We have the flannel sheets on the bed and we are wearing sweaters and sweat shirts. Have been eating hot soup for lunch and drinking lots of hot tea for dinner. Life is good. I have never minded the winter months but like you I am losing weight and it seems colder than usual. Oh well. The cycle of life and nature.

Yes indeed, soup weather! I’m going to make a pot of vegetable beef soup today. I don’t have central heating, so dress in layers and use a radiator type space heater just in the room I’m using. When it gets really cold, I leave them on low overnight too. But the temperature that was comfortable last year is too cold this time. My electric bills will be larger this winter.
