Is the pendulum swinging back to isolation?
In a surprising article recently appearing in The Hill (although written by someone for the Washington Examiner), a poll is said to say that Americans are “demanding a pivot to restraint.” Whatever that means. (But then, The Hill is for … Continue reading

Hope for California?
Readers know that this publication is no fan of California, either in the past or now. However, it would be wrong not to point to good things happening in the Golden State, that People’s Democratic Republic of California. (Emphasis: Democratic, … Continue reading

Burdens of government

A libertarian cop…
I’ve known a few libertarians who were cops, or retired cops, over the years. They’ve been good, very good, for the most part – a few were fakes (fake libertarians, not fake cops!) but it was obvious from the git-go. … Continue reading
Expanding the war on guns…
Disturbing news out of Virginia in the war on guns front. The Common Sense Show often stretches things just a wee bit, but this might be the real deal. It isn’t just an infringement on multiple constitutional rights, it is … Continue reading
Climate branding news
I understand that “manmade climate change” and “manmade global warming” are being put to rest by the media and the environists. The new phrase is “global meltdown.” It is a neat term – “meltdown,” that is. I don’t know if … Continue reading
Defining “Democracy” and why the FedGov isn’t
By Nathan Barton Most libertarians and conservatives are aware that the Federal Government – the union of States – was established as a republic and not a democracy. And of the distain (if that is a strong enough word) of … Continue reading →
