… on our knees before our “betters”

Municipal and county officials are often incredibly arrogant. For every customer service representative or equipment operator or even police officer who is friendly, helpful, courteous and encouraging? There seem to be two or three who are arrogant, condescending, sniffing out any sign of disobedience, independence, lack of total submission, “bad attitude” or hesitation. And most of these seem to be senior appointees, civil servants, or even elected officials. Often with a string of initials after their names, often starting with “C” for “Certified” this or that. Certified planners, certified building officials, certified municipal clerk, certified financial officer, and more. How they preen over their qualifications, their appointments, and their power!

Dare suggest that there may have been a mistake, may have been a confusing communication, or may have been a new (and always more harsh) interpretation of some code provision, city ordinance, county policy letter or poster? Oh dear, you are indeed something that you can tell they found on the bottom of their boot that they need to scrap off. And punish for not dodging out of the way of their tread.

But as over the top municipal officials may be, from lowly dog-catcher or sewer inspector to the City Administrator or Manager (who really rules the place, not the mayor and elected council)?

Judges are worse.

At all levels, from the rarified atmosphere of the “administrative law judge” and “justice of the peace” right up to those gals and gals who sit so far up that they look down on the Creator Himself on the Throne.

You know, the Nazgul – the Nine Nazgul in their most holy and sublime temple there in DC, and right on down to the various State Supreme Courts and State Ultimate Court of Justice and State Tribunals of Infinite Power.

As has again been demonstrated in the formerly free State of Ohio. Thanks to Rob Morse for pointing this out to me in his recent commentary on his website.

Briefly, a majority of Ohio’s highest court (four to three) decided that teachers cannot be armed while teaching (to protect their children and themselves) unless they either have “peace officer training” or twenty years of law enforcement experience. (A good article about the decision and dissent by three Ohio-Nazgul here.)

In their arrogance, and Ohioans’ stupidity (shared by the electorate of EVERY State), the four Ohio Nazgul have thrown away hundreds of thousands of hours, hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of dollars, treated teachers (private and public) like dirt, and put at risk of wounding and death hundreds of thousands or millions of Ohio schoolchildren. Rob’s reading of this mess seems sound to me.

And it shows how intolerable the arrogance and power (and ultimate stupidity) of the Nazgul and the huge number of people who support them have become.

How long, Oh Lord, how long must we put up with this? How many more people – children and adults – must be wounded, disabled, or killed because they (or those responsible for them) are placed in “gun-free” killing zones and fields? Because their God-given right of self-defense, and the privilege of being able to defend those you love and have responsibility for, are stripped away immorally by stupid politicians, and aided and abetted by stupidly arrogant men and women in black robes sitting on thrones.

Hear what they do not say in spoken words, but by their actions: “Bow down, take the knee, before your betters. your rulers, your bosses. You scum deserve nothing but misery and submission to your superiors, even if YOU are the very ones who elect us to power over you!”

And consider Sam Adams’ words:

“The liberties of our country, the freedoms of our civil Constitution are worth defending at all hazards; it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring a mark of everlasting infamy on the present generation – enlightened as it is – if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of designing men.”

Arming teachers is intelligent. Only arm those who want to be armed. Let them choose a weapon they arm comfortable with and shoot well. Almost all of the mass killers stop when confronted by armed authorities. Violence should be met with immediate, superior force.

Possibly. But not all are some kind of socialist. Men and women are still deluded about public schools and public service. Even though they are generally “conservative” in politics. Fortunately the very woke outright communists also believe the garbage about evil guns and are unlike to actual get and use one.
