We are now approaching 22 months of the public pandemic – and a full two years since it seems the novel coronavirus first made people ill (in China).

The daily news is filled with more and more reports of new lockdowns, travel restrictions, and the unending drumbeat of “cases” and “deaths” – which always (of course) increase. I think most rational and objective observers can see the extreme (and purposeful) bias of the news.

Between the news sound bites, we also have an unrelenting stream of propaganda. Not just in the form of the ubiquitous “public service announcements” (PSA) but many of the commercial adverts. We hear the proclamations of “medical correctness” – masks, vaccines, social distancing. And we hear how making sure our 5 to 11 year old children are “guaranteed a future” by getting the COVID-19 vaccination. And more. We are told constantly that the vaccine means fewer hospitalizations and deaths, and less-severe symptoms. In the public schools (and too many private ones) our children are told that wearing masks and getting the Jab is essential to keep grandma and grandpa from dying. And also to keep THEM (the children) from getting sick and dying.

The real-world data is, it seems, virtually always ignored. Consider the latest tactic. The omicron variant is spreading around the world. Everyone must lock down: embargos are being imposed with great rapidity. (I write this before Beloved Leader Uncle Joe is to speak about this deadly menace.) Yet the news from South Africa and elsewhere seems to be that this variant is far less virulent than previous versions, with few or none being found with symptoms and no one being hospitalized. (Fewer even than the very low numbers with the earlier variants.) But Omicron is pushing more and more demands for all the “solutions” that have, frankly, failed for nearly two years. Again, let us see how the data – the REAL science – is ignored.

Over at AIER, Jon Sanders has a good analysis of the real threat that Beer Flu poses to Americans.

• Active cases: 1,118,866
• Percent of total cases presumed recovered: 96.0%
• Percent of total cases that are active: 2.4%
• Percent of the total U.S. population with active cases of Covid: over 0.3%
• Percent of the U.S. population to have died with or from Covid-19: over 0.2%
• Percent of the U.S. population posing no threat of passing along COVID-19: nearly 99.7%

These are estimates, of course, and the data are incomplete.

Now, there are about 330,000,000 people living/hiding in the Fifty States. According to a tracker, 70% of us (231,000,000+) have gotten at least one dose, and 196,168,756 or 60% (as of 24 November) have been “fully vaccinated.” A news story this morning announced that a staggering 99.9% of people age 65 and above have been vaccinated. I don’t know how much overlap there is between the 45 million recovered and the 196 million who have been vaccinated. But the numbers are clear. It is obvious that the mandates make no sense and no difference in who gets it, who gets sick, and who dies.

But the nannies – and the tyrants – continue to demand them. And continue to lie to support their demands.

3 people of every 1,000 people in the States have the disease at any one time. Over the past 20-24 months, 2 people of every 1,000 in the States have died from the disease or WITH the disease. (Like the beheaded motorcyclist who died “with” COVID, or the alcohol-poisoned “park ranger” who did – or the 104-year-old or… you get the point.)

Supposedly, according to this site, 49 million Americans have had this thing. And just under 800,000 have died – as of today, 29 November 2021. And oddly, that website claims that less than 39 million have recovered. Eh? At the same time, we were told that 100,000 Americans died of overdoses of various drugs in 2020: a “new record” that really does not show a significant increase from the average over the past 20+ years. An increase easily accounted for by population growth. Yet other data shows that the number of “excess deaths” is not anywhere near as high as the supposed COVID deaths.

So what gives? Other than that statistics lie, and the risk from COVID – either getting it or getting really sick from it, or dying from it is overblown.

Just this: Those who support more and more governmental control and less and less individual freedom have latched onto (in their view) a godsend in the form of a disease originating under dubious circumstances in China. Why? Because it is perfectly made to promote their goals of control and servitude over most of humanity.

Therefore, they are willing to exaggerate and otherwise lie and lie and lie some more. This promotes the use of the Beer Flu to further their objectives.

The real objectives of the “lockdowners” is NOT to save lives, NOT to prevent illness NOT to provide “for the children.” Their objectives, and the reasons for pushing the mandates, are power and wealth.
