Walking while black, with your hands in your pocket on a cold November day makes you a suspect in robberies, according to a Michigan cop. Sweet. Heaven forbid he have a face mask, partial or not, against a cold wind and frostbite, or a hood on his parka in a blizzard. But this IS typical of the bad behavior of the “boys (and girls) in blue.”
And it isn’t limited to “normal racism” of course: although these days home-schoolers must seem like another race, even aliens! Consider this next story.
The actual incident happened some time ago, and charges were dropped in front of a Nazgul (a “honest judge?”), but now with the help of several liberty-supporting foundations, the family is suing the government (apparently county and city) for being investigated for having a messy house while homeschooling, which included a forced, non-warranted invasion of the home and pepper spraying and tazing them in front of their children, who were then kidnapped for several months. Whew! Glad the authorities in my family’s communities, not just as we were raising our sons, but when WE were being razed, were not subject to punitive action for a “messy” house. For that matter, today… well, enough said on that subject. If the messiness of that homeschooling family was sufficient for invasion, pepper spray and tasers, we’d get the death penalty, sure as shooting. IF we weren’t prepared to defend ourselves.
Sometimes, too rarely always, we see NO racism and real respect for other humans, even when we disagree with them.
Mama Liberty sent this one to me with the comment: Too bad there are not more like him. An African-American boy holding a “Free Hugs” sign stood crying in front of a police barricade at a Ferguson rally in Portland, Oregon. A white police officer motioned for him to come closer. The officer then asked the boy for a hug — and they embraced, the boy’s anguished face streaming with tears. A photographer captured the encounter earlier this week, and the photo has become popular on social media. It’s an unusual image as people around the country protest a grand jury’s decision. I asked her if this might not be a set-up, but agree with her that it looks genuine, even on a “gut feel.”
I actually wonder if this might not be a Pulitzer Prize winner, reminding myself of course that the Pulitzer is a mainstream media tool. We don’t have to make race an issue, as this photo shows – any more than age or nationality or sex. But like recent scenes from Ferguson itself showing groups of heavily-armed people DEFENDING stores and people from being attacked were almost ALL mixed-race: Anglo (white), Hispanic, and Black, this is HOPE for the future of our people and this land.
We must remember that people are people, and that it is our souls and spirits, and not our bodies or our skin color or eye shape or who our parents or our grandparents or eight-generations-back ancestors were, which determine our beliefs, our behavior or our worth. Or how we should be dealt with.
Consider the Congressional Black Caucus. It is NOT their ancestry that makes these pieces of work scumbags and roadbase fodder, it is their upbringing, their education (indoctrination), and their actions. Like using Ferguson as an excuse to renew their call for “slave reparations.” Late Monday night, after the House took its final votes, members of the Congressional Black Caucus took the floor to speak for about one hour about race in the wake of a grand jury’s decision last week not to indict. There is not ONE American alive today who LEGALLY owned slaves – not even ONE slave. There are very few if ANY companies today who were ever owned by a slaveholder, or which used or benefited from slaves. There is NO excuse for any “reparations” for slavery any more than there is any justification for reparations by the UK because Elizabeth II’s great-x-times grandfather George III tried force of arms to make OUR x-times distant grandparents (or some of our grandparents) pay taxes to the Crown. These men and women (some of whom exhibit the most incredible stupidity found in government) are stupid and evil and mean and clueless by their own free will. But generations of upbringing and indoctrination make THEM think that skin color is important. Just as the protesters about Ferguson do.
