A special treat this weekend was all the fun people had with the latest White House spin about how their beloved leader (not mine), the “messiah” goes shooting all the time, and then published photos to prove it – right!

Bear not only had fun himself, but pointed to other people who were enjoying themselves, showing the emperor has no clothes, like this:

Nathan: While it is a lot of fun and helps relieve frustration to do this sort of thing, it is important – more important – to remember that even if the election now three months behind us was cooked, and even if the Manchurian Candidate has been shown to be real life, that far too many people we have to share this land with DO support him, and many of them DO worship him as a deity or demigod.  And that, through the foolish actions of past generations, the power given to this “messiah” and his lackeys is insanely high.

Lost liberty is not restored through writing or publishing satire and sly digs and exposes, nor speaking pretty words in courtrooms or on television or in the town square, although these are all useful and often important adjuncts to the real process of resisting tyranny and facing down evil men (and women) who believe that THEY deserve and have power over us, that THEY are better and wiser and stronger and smarter and prepared by birth and education and “experience” to rule – and that the rest of us are merely tools and fools.  Liberty can be won only through blood.  Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot – and this time, the bleeding hasn’t really begun.
