Another mass killing, and this time with some suspicion of Islamist terrorism on American soil, although CNN and other news sources are being coy. According to reports right now (2 PM on Thursday the 16th), four MARINES are dead at a reserve center and a recruiting office in Memphis, all supposedly killed by a now-dead perp, who may have been killed by cops or killed himself. The facilities, incredibly, were GUN-FREE ZONES so we can directly blame Congress and the White House and Pentagon for these dead Marines, who were not allowed to adequately defend themselves, right in the heart of a major American (and Southern) city. When will we learn? Enough is enough!
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me,” says one of the Ten Commandments. Apparently, many inhabitants of the District of Columbia are paying some attention to that, although I’m not sure if the “god” in front is supposed to be the FedGov or perhaps Abe Lincoln. KEEL Radio has a story about “man-in-the-street” interviews in which denizens of DC say that the Jefferson Memorial should be torn down and that Washington should be renamed.
The reason? Both honor slaveholders, and apparently the only reason to tear Jefferson’s memorial down (other than a CNN story from several weeks ago posing that question) and NOT the Washington Memorial, is that Jefferson advocated secession, even if he died 41 years before the Confederate States did secede. But I am sure that it would only be a matter of time before the Washington Memorial would also be demolished, leaving the temple to Abe Lincoln remaining as a place of pilgrimage and worship. What would they rename DC? Apparently the two top contenders are “Black City” and “Mixed City.” What? NOT “Holy City of Divine Worship of Government” or something similar?
Mama’s Note: I respectfully suggest that ALL of Washington DC, and ALL monuments to political figures across the country be torn down.. burned where appropriate, otherwise ground to a powder and used in the production of road building material. No sense wasting perfectly good stone and cement. What to do with the colossal graphite of such places as Mount Rushmore is more difficult, but I’d think something could be done to remove these hideous disfigurements of the countryside as well.
Medical cannabis is NOT legal, and one group, the bogus “Safe Streets Alliance” out of (where else) DC, is using the Racketeering and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act to attack Colorado’s cannabis industry, according to US News. I think it is telling that the first business they attacked and closed down was a MEDICAL company and not a company selling recreational cannabis, though they plan to go after every business, by attacking anyone who does business with them, and using this much-abused federal law as the hammer. (Cannabis is NOT legal under federal law, but there is NOTHING in the Constitution that states that federal law dealing with drugs is “supreme.”) Indeed, you would have a strong argument that the various requirements regarding interstate commerce would make it legal for individuals to own (and use) marijuana purchased in Oregon or Colorado in EVERY other state.
Mama’s Note: There is absolutely nothing in the “constitution” that allows the federal government to have ANYTHING whatsoever to say about medicine, food, education, or much of anything else they meddle with today. And that’s on top of the fact that the entire constitution is a sham and a lie to start with. Did YOU sign up to live with that as the arbitrator of your life? I didn’t.
Does it really matter? World Net Daily reports on a lawsuit filed against the FedGov on the EPA redefinition of “waters of the United States,” which is characterized by a lot of people as a “power grab.” Don’t hold your breath that the courts will change this: tyranny is on a roll, and the thugs are running things. Revolt is necessary to overthrow the tyranny of the EPA, as with the rest of the alphabet soup.
Mama’s Note: “Revolt?” Depends on what you mean there. The first, and most important part of any revolt or reorganization is the realization by the people that those exercising the tyranny have no legitimate authority over them – or anything.
