Here comes the occupation!

The BBC reports that Trump has ordered virtually all US troops out of Somalia, to be done by 15 January 2021. That gives them just enough time to deplane and dig in around the White House, before the supposed day of transfer of power from The Donald to Uncle Joe. Trump’s objective, clearly, is to seize permanent power in America, even at the cost of giving up some of America’s overseas empire.

Will this help?

A correspondent from Nebraska shared this with me. Think about it…

Will This Trick END the Pandemic? It Might be Worth a Shot…

One of the most remarkable things about the response to COVID in 2020 is the absolute cluelessness of the people in charge. They have no idea that the people they’re bossing around are now filled with the white-hot hatred of 10,000 suns for them. A crowd could be walking directly toward some of these corona-tyrants while armed with pitchforks and torches… and they’d still try to announce another lockdown or a ban on the sale of carpet.

Hey, dumb politicians: Your constituents are furious. They realize this virus has a better than 99% survival rate for everyone under the age of 80. They know the masks are pointless theater, and that lockdowns don’t work.

But do the politicians stop? No, of course not.

The mayor of Austin, Texas just ordered his citizens to stay home for the holidays. He sent that message via Facebook, as he was vacationing in Cabo San Lucas. Every corona-tyrant from California’s governor to New York City’s mayor has been caught breaking their own rules.

Why? Because they don’t take the virus seriously, and because they literally hate you. Maybe this volcano solution has something to it. – from the Facts Not Memes website

As I suggested to the person who shared it, one is NOT enough.

Perhaps the old Roman idea of decimation would work, to scare the remaining ones into behaving, at least for a little while. Maybe…

(Wikipedia: “Decimation was a form of Roman military discipline in which every tenth man in a group was executed by members of his cohort. The discipline was used by senior commanders in the Roman Army to punish units or large groups guilty of capital offences, such as cowardice, mutiny, desertion, and insubordination, and for pacification of rebellious legions. The word decimation is derived from Latin meaning “removal of a tenth”. The procedure was an attempt to balance the need to punish serious offences with the realities of managing a large group of offenders.”)

South Dakota can be proud

Warning: South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is NOT a libertarian. Further, she is hated and despised by many people in South Dakota itself, and seems to be getting to be as hated by mainstream media (inside and outside South Dakota) as Trump.

Nevertheless, Noem is possibly the most libertarian governor of the Fifty States today, and deserves high praise even from lovers of liberty for her stand on the Pandemic Panic. (See caveat below.)

“Homeless” camps come to South Dakota – and nastiness follows

When stupid actions are taken by stupid people (or who are hiding their true intentions), it is not uncommon for bad, unacceptable things to happen. A relatively small example can be seen recently in South Dakota.

TANJ: There ain’t NO justice

The American court system has rapidly decayed in recent decades. Almost as fast and lowdown as the media.

Not that it was any great shakes in many parts of the nation back in the 1900s.

Consider this story about a man from Rapid CIty, which appeared in Newsbreak, a smartphone app, and was taken from LawyersTalk.com. I’ll have to share more of the story than usual, to explain my point about both the media and the court system.

Second wave of the Lockdown and the Lockdown Rebellion

Whether this current situation is or is not a true “second wave” of this pandemic (as happened in 1918-1919), I’ll leave that for the medical people. (For now, at least.)

But we are most certainly in the Second Wave of the massive attack on Americans’ liberty by the thugs, tyrants, technocrats, autocrats, and power-mad people called governors, mayors, county executives, county commissions, city councils, legislatures and judges. The lockdowns are exploding, as are increased mask mandates, curfews, and other bizarre examples of authoritarian, even totalitarian, government which have even LESS justification for a free people than “regular” government does.

How to Master Your Confidence & Freedom Like Mel Gibson in ...

Not just the new edicts, but the enforcement. The thugs seeking and taking more and more power over the people of their States and cities are doubling down. Incredibly, people protesting and disobeying illegal, immoral, and ineffective government edicts are being accused of being Nazis!

Time to heel?

As more and more States fall in line with the Biden “landslide,” the mainstream media are hosing us down with the idea that it is now time for the divisions of the campaign and the first three weeks of the election to heal. And of course, Creepy Uncle Joe and Kammie the Commie are the ones that can do that healing.

But whatever the medical or spiritual expertise of that team, and whether they can heal anything or not, it is clearly (in their opinion) time to heel. We are all expected to be compliant, submissive dogs and to walk quietly behind our new Massa and his (literally) designated heir. To obey, as the Faucet (Dr. Fauci) spewed a few days ago.

That obedience doesn’t just apply to the Pandemic.

Walter E. Williams – he will be missed

I just heard on a talk radio program that the beloved Walter E. Williams has just passed away. None of the “regular” news sites have reported this, but I assume it is true: he was 84. Walter was an American economist, commentator, and academic, the John M. Olin Distinguished Professor of Economics at George Mason University. He is sometimes called a “conservative” but was rather a classical liberal and libertarian (minarchist).
He will be missed very much: his knowledge, wisdom and willngness to push back against attacks by Extreme Democrats and the Street Mob – and his defense of liberty, free markets, and individual freedom has been exceptional.

Post-Thanksgiving, A Brave New World 1984-style

Of course, we don’t have to wait until 20 January 2021 for this garbage to start.

Hurt feelings – protected from them by law?

When the woke and advocates for victims of every type are in control, they push really stupid things. (Just like the conservatives they oppose. Stupid, but different.) As we should expect in a Biden-Harris regime, emboldened by their “landslide victory” over the Orange Man Bad. We are going to see a lot of really bad, stupid, evil, and often deadly laws pushed – and too many pushed through. Even if McConnell still leads the Senate.

Apparently, here is one really, really bad and stupid idea for a law that has been revived.
