When push comes to shove … COVID in Indian Country of SD

Both sides are ramping up the war of words and actions here in the Fifty States right now. Is this another “phony war” as Europe suffered at the beginning of WW2 80 years ago? Will this current game turn into actual fighting and violence?

Let me talk about near to home, in South Dakota:

A war on some religions

Throughout the Lockdown, I have constantly read that the prohibitions on assembling for worship decreed by many states and local governments were NOT persecution. Why? Because they applied to ALL gatherings and assemblies and activities, not just to religious gatherings and activities.

Except, of course, people writing that claim were wrong.

The surveillance state – here to stay? at least in Baltimore…

On Thursday the 30th of April, the City of Baltimore announced that 24-7 aerial surveillance of virtually the entire city will begin on Friday, 1 May. The drones will RECORD their surveillance, collecting etabytes of images that will track EVERY person – especially the 600,000 who live in this gulag – whenever they are outside. And according to ABC News, most people in the city appear to be fine with this loss of privacy and freedom.

News from the frontlines of the Lockdown Rebellion

This is the last day of April, 2020. Now pushing two months, the world (and especially the Fifty States) is crushed by the novel Coronavirus Panic. Not the Pandemic itself, but the panic and opportunistic actions of the politicians and the medical profession.

Here are a few recent developments, good and bad:

Before we have to monkeywrench to defend ourselves, Part 1

In a recent commentary, we talked about monkeywrenching to defeat tyranny. Several folks have commented (privately) about their ideas or what they have heard.

But monkeywrenching is pretty high up the sequence. We are seeing even more of the lower-level actions: these may or may not be effective, but they are essential to prepare for more action. And they are clearly defensive in nature. Let us take a look at a few of these, which we are seeing in more and more States during the COVID-19 panic. Are all of these effective, in response to the Lockdown, and for the restoration of liberty? If they are, they need to be increased.

COVID-19: governments turn on each other in New Mexico

Last week I mentioned the city of Grants, New Mexico, whose mayor publicly defied State dictator (“Governor”) Gresham and stated that Grants was open for business starting Monday. He called Ms. Gresham a Nazi like Hitler and the New Mexico State Police the Gestapo.

Turns out he wasn’t bluffing.

The current target list for enemies of liberty

As the Beer Virus Panic continues, enemies of liberty are grabbing at the opportunities that crisis brings. They are targeting very specific parts of our God-given liberty, as hard as ever.

Monkeywrenching comes to life again…

How do you fight back – nonviolently – against the explosive growth of totalitarian enactments, not just in the Fifty States, but worldwide? How can you act in defiance of arbitrary, immoral, and illegal mandates and prohibitions? Especially when not just the government and ITS goons, but the media, big (and small) corporations, health care givers, and much of the general public are in cahoots with the regimes?

One way? You monkeywrench.

California regime joins its comrades on other side of the Pacific

As California’s dictator is given kudos in the mainstream media for its “wise efforts” to reopen after the COVID-19 Panic Lockdown, it appears to all be “Pie in the Sky By and By.”

Supposedly beaches are to be open on Monday (the 27th) to limited use: you can swim, wade, run, surf, etc. but you won’t be able to just sit or lay on the beach. No sunning. Even so, apparently a lot of people went to the beach yesterday (Saturday, 25th April 2020). It seems (reported by WND and The Blaze) that at least three got arrested for staging an “illegal protest” which violated the dictator’s decrees.

Perhaps the police were afraid that these men and those with them were seeking to flee across the water to a country with more freedom than California now enjoys? Escapees are always harshly punished by totalitarian regimes, as we see even today in North Korea and China. Which California more and more resembles.

Of course, where will they go? Hawai’i is locked down worse than Californa (and its a long ways there). Oregon and Washington State and British Columbia and Alaska are also locked down to some degree. Mexico sure doesn’t want any Norte Americano Yanquis coming down to infect them.

Maybe they’d have done better to go north and east to the rebellious counties of Nevada (as I understand, everything outside of Clark County and the Reno-Sparks-Tahoe area). Or maybe some parts of Arizona (but don’t try the Navajo Nation, which is still on its latest 57-hour mandatory curfew this weekend). If you can get to some parts of Utah, you might find both freedom and welcome, but be careful.

You’d find yourself welcome in Wyoming, perhaps, as long as you hide that you are from California. The people there aren’t very tolerant of Californians even in good times, but they DO welcome refugees from the police state of the People’s Republic.

Biggest victims of the novel Coronavirus: #2 is the economy

Not jut the American economy, but the world economy, has been severely damaged by the Pandemic Panic. Not the virus or the disease itself, but the reaction to it. Severely damaged and even destroyed.

Cars lined up at a Dallas food bank in a 2020 “bread line”

In the Fifty States right now, the riders of doom are proclaiming that famine is upon us. As eggs, milk, chicken, hogs, and apparently even cattle are being destroyed because the food processing and supply chain is broken, we are warned it might be months before something can be done to fully restore it. Even if the Lockdown ends this weekend. More and more Americans (26 million + as of this week; more than 20 million new in April so far) are out of work. The number grows by the hundreds of thousands each day.

But the rest of the world is in no better shape.
